Traditional Undergraduate Students

Traditional undergraduate students enrolled for seven (7) or more units are automatically charged for health insurance for the Fall and Spring semesters unless proof of insurance is submitted to the Student Services Office. Students who provide proof of insurance for the Fall semester are automatically waived from insurance charges for the Spring semester of the same academic year.  Students who choose to waive their insurance charge must submit a "Student Insurance Waiver" form every Fall semester. 
 
To request a waiver of your health insurance, please complete the "Student Insurance Waiver" form in the "Forms" portlet and submit the form to the Student Services Office.

Graduate and Degree Completion Students

Graduate and degree completion students may purchase health insurance through the university. For further information regarding the university’s health insurance contact the Student Services Office at 951-343-4217 or ksmith@calbaptist.edu


International Students

International students are required to enroll in the university's health insurance plan.

California Baptist University generally requires traditional, single students under twenty-one (21) years of age, or who receive institutional aid in excess of $6,000 per academic year, to live on campus.  Exceptions are made for those living with parents, legal guardians(s), or approved relatives, upon verification of residency. 
 
If you are planning to live with an approved relative or if you are not eligible to live off campus, but would like to request an exemption, please contact the Residence Life Office at housing@calbaptist.edu or 951-552-8000.  The Residence Life Office is located in Cottage 7.

To request a meal plan or to modify an existing meal plan please contact the Campus Life Office at CampusLife@calbaptist.edu.  Your request must be submitted from your Lancer Mail account. 
 
Requests to reduce Fall 2010 weekly meal plans must be received by the last day to drop a class for consideration.  Requests to change Fall 2010 block meal plans must be received by August 24, 2010.
