Traditional Undergraduate Students

Traditional undergraduate students enrolled for seven (7) or more units are automatically charged for health insurance for the fall and spring semesters unless proof of insurance is submitted to the Student Services office. Students who provide proof of insurance for the fall semester are automatically waived from insurance charges for the spring semester of the same academic year. 
 
To request a waiver of your health insurance, please complete the "Student Insurance Waiver" form in the "Forms" portlet and submit the form to the Student Services Office.

Graduate and Degree Completion Students

Graduate and Degree Completion students may purchase health insurance through the University. For further information regarding the University’s health insurance contact the Student Services Office at 951-343-4217 or ksmith@calbaptist.edu


International Students

International students are required to be enrolled in the University's health insurance plan.

California Baptist University generally requires traditional, single students under twenty-one (21) years of age, or who receive institutional aid in excess of $3,000 per academic year, to live on campus.  Exceptions are made for those living with parents, legal guardians(s), or approved relatives, upon verification of residency. 
 
If you are planning to live with an approved relative, please complete and submit to Residence Life the "Verification of Residence" form in the "Forms" portlet. 
 
If you are not eligible to live off campus, but would like to request an exemption, please complete and submit to Residence Life the "Housing Exemption Request" form in the "Forms" portlet.

5 Meals per week - $695
7 Meals per week - $975
10 Meals per week - $1,395
13 Meals per week - $1,615
16 Meals per week - $1,895
19 Meals per week - $2,105
 
To request a specific meal plan, please complete and submit to Student Services the "Student Data Sheet " form above.
 
All on-campus, single, traditional residents are required to have a minimum meal plan of 10 meals per week.  Exemption requests may be submitted in writing to the Student Services Office (YCTR D247).
