LancerNet systems are functioning normally.
 
 
ATTENTION
Beginning Fri, 3/19 at 1AM and ending Sun, 3/21 in the evening sometime, the Jenzabar CX system and InsideCBU functions & Cognos reports needing access to CX will be unavailable for important system maintenance and updates. 
 
Examples of InsideCBU functions that will be unavailable are:
Course and Fee Statements
Course Registration
Financial Aid Awards
Degree Guides
Password Change Utility
Grade Reports
and other similar functions.
 
All other LancerNet services will be unaffected.
 

We are seeing an increase in attempts to acquire people's logonids or other confidential information.
 
REMEMBER - CBU WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR USERID/PASSWORD VIA EMAIL!
 
Should you receive such requests, do not respond - simply delete the email. 

Student Computer Assistance
 
If you need assistance connecting your computer to LancerNet, support for students is available as follows:
 
Computer Drop-Off
Students may check laptops in to ITS at James 153 Monday - Friday during normal business hours.
 
Appointments
Students may contact 343-4444 to schedule afternoon/evening appointments in their on-campus residence area.

Important Wireless Info
 
Reminder - CBU does not permit the installation of personal wireless routers in Simmons Hall, Smith Hall, or The Cottages - see the LancerNet policy in Student Handbook.
 
If you are attempting to connect to LancerNet Wireless, the only authorized network identifier will be "CBU" with no additional words or abbreviations.  Anything else is NOT part of CBU's network and should be reported to
ITS (343-4444 or ithelpdesk@calbaptist.edu) as this could pose both a security risk to LancerNet users and may also negatively impact the reliability and performance of LancerNet.

 Report any issues to the ITS HelpDesk at x4444.
