Description
This course provides training for students to be a First Responder, prepared to administer emergency care required for catastrophic and/or life-threatening injuries and illnesses to physically active individuals. Completion of this course provides certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, bloodborne pathogens, AED and first aid. A clinical experience specific to recognizing and managing emergency conditions will be included. (3 units; Summer)
