Description
This course introduces students to concepts in molecular and genetic basis of cellular processes and the inferences made of these processes through genome and protein database analyses and modeling. Emphasis will be placed on theoretical and experimental approaches used to gain insights in genome structure and function through the use and application of web-based bioinformatics tools developed from advances in the human genome project. Additional lab fee. Prerequisite: BIO 330 or CHE 443.(4 units; Spring)
