Description
This is an introductory course that is designed to meet the requirements of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA) knowledge standards in the areas of normal processes, communication disorders, and clinical application. Students will demonstrate a basic knowledge of common speech, language, and hearing disorders, including etiologies, characteristics, prevention, assessment and intervention. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
