Description
This is an introductory level course designed to acquaint students with the basics of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology and related communication disorders. Students will learn the etiologies, symptoms and treatment methods for the aphasias, RHD, apraxia, dysarthria, TBI and dementias. Effective counseling methods for this population of patients and their families will also be covered. Prerequisite: CDS 240. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
