Description
This course will begin with a brief review of the anatomy and physiology of the head and neck. Students will then learn about underlying conditions that cause structural communication disorders including but not limited to vocal fold pathology and craniofacial disorders. Students will be introduced to assessment and management of the speech, voice and resonance disorders that occur in structural communication disorders. Prerequisite: CDS 240. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
