Description

Students will study Autism Spectrum Disorder in terms of its diagnosis, etiologies, and characteristics across the lifespan. They will analyze and compare a a variety of current, controversial, and traditional treatments and theories, as well as biomedical issues, special diets, and chelation. The course also focuses on the early childhood assessment procedures essential for diagnosis and intervention. (2 units; Spring)
