Description
This course will use best-practice research to evaluate the daily responsibilities of a teacher. Information gathered during the concurrent requisite course will be used to transfer the research understandings into contextually relevant pedagogical skills that help the candidate appropriately establish effective teacher-student relationships, apply basic classroom management strategies, embrace ethical responsibilities, and build culturally relevant student-focused mini lessons. Prerequisite: Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education program admission. (3 units; As offered)
