Description
An approach to grammar designed to correct common errors in the mechanics of writing. Includes punctuation and spelling; focuses on grammatical problems in the sentence and the paragraph. Does not count toward the English requirements for a bachelor's degree. Placement into this course is determined by ACT/SAT scores. Placement may be challenged by the Writing Placement Exam. Pass/Fail. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
