Description
Explores the fundamental principles of and issues of environmental studies including the history of environmental concerns, biomes, species interactions with each other and their environment, air, water, soil and biological resources. Topics include soil science and soil as a natural resource, physical and chemical aspects of the atmosphere and water resources. Lecture (3 units) and required laboratory (1 unit). Additional lab fee. Prerequisites: CHE 115, 115L, and ENV 110. (4 units; Spring, even years)
