Description
Students continue to develop academic reading abilities and English vocabulary. In this course, students will read a variety of texts on contemporary academic and literary topics. Text are both academic and of general interest. Vocabulary exercises will relate to reading themes and will reinforce understanding of the passage. Pass/Fail. Class hours: 4 Lecture/week. Prerequisite: ESL 010 or appropriate placement score. (3 units; As offered)
