Description
This course will include instruction in and practice of intermediate level listening and speaking activities. Listening tasks will include listening to academic lectures, note-taking skills, and organizing information from the notes. Students also practice speech appropriate to both social and academic settings, with emphasis placed on message delivery and content as well as language usage and pronunciation. Prerequisite: ESL 012 or appropriate placement score. Class hours: 6 Lecture/week. (3 units)
