Description

Course explores the intersection of psychology and finance from the perspective of both the financial counselor and the client. Students will explore how cognitive and emotional factors impact financial decisions with a focus on attitudes, values, and biases of all participants. Core principles of counseling are taught, based on a Christian worldview, through cases and simulations, improving students' confidence in their ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, particularly during crisis situations.
