Description

An in-depth study of airframes and aircraft systems, aircraft instruments, safety, aerodynamics, stability, physiology, weather, airports, airspace, emergency operations, ground reference maneuvers, charts and publications, and the principles of pilotage, dead-reckoning, as well as radio and electronic methods of navigation as applied to cross-country flight planning to prepare the student for the FAA private pilot knowledge test. Additional lab fee. (5 units; Fall/Spring)
