Description
The First Year Experience is designed to assist new students with the transition to university life and the California Baptist University community. The course is comprised of a semester-long series of small group seminars, activities, and discussions and is designed to address the developmental and transitional needs of new students at California Baptist University. Topics focus on the issues, skills, and relationships that can help students succeed academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Based on years of tradition, but sensitive to the ever-changing needs of university students, this course provides a well-rounded introduction to the California Baptist University experience. Pass/Fail. (1 unit; Fall/Spring)
