Description

This is a survey course covering the topics of critical thinking skills, inductive reasoning, problem solving, sets, logic, number theory, algebra, graphs and functions, systems of linear equations and inequalities, euclidean and non-euclidean geometry, groups, finance, probability, and statistics. The course is designed to expand into a variety of areas which students in the arts may find more applicable. Prerequisite: MAT 095 or sufficient SAT, ACT or math placement exam scores. (3 units; Fall/Spring & OPS)
