Description

The emphasis of the course is on improving the skills of conducting marketing research. This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of the research process including: recognizing the need for marketing research, planning for marketing research, obtaining and collecting the data, analyzing the data, and presenting the research results. This course concerns the use of marketing research as an aid to making marketing decisions. Accordingly, this course is appropriate for both prospective users of research results and prospective marketing researchers. Primary and secondary research will be performed, qualitative and quantitative methods will be utilized as well. Prerequisites: BUS 315 and MKT 333. (3 units; Spring & OPS)
