Applied instruction in the fundamentals of songwriting with emphasis placed on melodic writing, structure, "hooks," and text setting. May be repeated for a maximum of eight (8) units. Private Instruction Fee. Prerequisite: MUS 253. (1-2 units; Fall/Spring)
