Description
This course provides a scientific basis for nutritional needs of humans and factors involved in meeting such requirements in individuals and population groups. Macronutrients and their metabolism with an emphasis on regulation, structure, digestion, absorption, transport, distribution, and disease states will also be covered. Prerequisite: NFS 101, 200, and 320. (4 units; As offered)
