Description
A Level II course in the nursing major where there is application of nursing theory-based services for young, middle, and older adults. Acute and chronic issues of health integration and themes of collaboration/communication, critical thinking, teaching-learning, change-persistence and leading-following in nursing services are emphasized. Focus is on collaborative services with health promotion/disease prevention as well as the medical management of common acute and chronic illnesses in a variety of settings. Nine (9) hours/week practicum. Co-requisite: NUR 255. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
