Description
An introduction to the basic principles of pharmacology and nutrition with a focus on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and therapeutic implications for major drug categories as well as natural products. Emphasis also on nutritional health promotion as well as therapeutic nutrition related to selected illness states. Prerequisite: Admission into nursing major. (3 units; Fall/Spring; RN-BSN)
