Description
Theoretical basis for professional nursing practice with childbearing families. Emphasis is on childbearing as a family experience, nurse-family processes, and changing health patterns with childbearing families. Nursing role, communication/collaboration activities and teaching-learning opportunities with health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention will be discussed. Co-requisite: NUR 326. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
