Description
The course focuses on a theoretical understanding of nursing concepts which are utilized in nurse-community processes while providing nursing services to individuals, families, communities, and aggregates of populations. The student will explore the role of the community health /public health nurse as an interdisciplinary collaborator with other members of the healthcare team. Changing healthcare systems and policies from a global perspective will be explored. Co-requisite: NUR 421. (3 units; Interdisciplinary; Fall/Spring; RN-BSN)
