Description
The course focuses on theoretical concepts related to the role of the community/public health nurse as a collaborator within the healthcare setting. Determinants of health for aggregate and vulnerable populations will be explored. The community/public health nurse as a change agent at the local, national, and global policy level will be examined. This course meets the state published mandated reporting requirements for abuse and neglect of at-risk populations. Prerequisite: Permission of the Dean. Pre- or Co- Requisite: NUR 421.
