Description
The practicum experience provides a supervised environment where the student can apply evidence-based concepts while developing clinical competency in acute management skills and honing clinical documentation. Emphasis is placed on building therapeutic relationships, safe clinical decision making, management of emergent or acute illness, and procedural interventions.
