Description
Application of nursing theory-based services for young, middle, and older adults. Acute and chronic issues of health integration and themes of collaboration/communication, critical thinking, teaching-learning, change-persistence and leading-following in nursing services are emphasized. Focus is on collaborative services with health promotion/disease prevention as well as the medical management of common acute and chronic illnesses in a variety of settings. Nine (9) hours/week practicum). Pre-requisites: NUR 501, 502, 512, 515. (3 units)
