Description
This practicum focuses on the application of nursing theory and nurse-family processes in providing evidence-based nursing services to children, adolescents, and their families. The course emphasizes clinical judgment in providing health promotion, disease prevention, and nursing care of pediatric clients with acute and chronic illnesses in diverse settings. 6 hours/week practicum. Prerequisite: Permission of the Dean. Pre- or Co- Requisite: NUR 535. (2 units; As offered)
