Description
Practicum experience in community and public health nursing focusing on collaborative policy development, change, teaching-learning processes, the role, application of public health principles and nursing processes in the provision of nursing services with individuals and families and populations in a variety of community-based settings. Students registered in this section will participate in a global practicum experience during which the skills learned throughout the semester will be applied in an international setting. Students may only earn credit for NUR 539 or NUR 539G. Additional trip fee(s). Prerequisite: Permission of the Dean. Pre- or Co- Requisite: NUR 538. (3 units; As offered)
