Description

This course will prepare students to promote high quality and safe patient care through exploration of nursing leadership This course will prepare students to promote high quality and safe patient care through exploration of nursing leadership principles, advanced nursing roles, and utilization of evidenced-based practice to create effective system change. Complexity leadership skills that emphasize ethical and critical decision-making, effective working relationships, and a systems perspective are explored. The student will examine the role of the master�s-prepared nurse as a member and leader of the interprofessional team, who communicates, collaborates, and consults with other health care professionals. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
