Description
Students explore and apply theoretical foundations to the care of acute, episodic illnesses while gaining discernment of emergent conditions from varying pathological states. The course builds on concepts and skills derived from previous courses and focuses on evidence-based clinical decision-making and diagnostic interpretation to support diagnosis and management of acute health care across the life-span.
