Description
This course analyzes selected teaching and learning models that are applicable to nursing education. Nursing theoretical perspectives with the nursing human becoming teaching-learning model is highlighted. Strategies for course development
with didactic and practicum teaching are examined. Research relative to nursing education is reviewed and critiqued. Design of applied research methods to determine effectiveness of teaching strategies is incorporated. Selected university faculty and nurse education issues are also explored.
