Description

Provides practical clinical exposure opportunities for students to expand refine and integrate knowledge and skills in Behavioral Medicine/Psychiatry. Students will develop proficiency in patient history-taking, evaluation, diagnosis, and management of emotional and psychiatric conditions seen in the pediatric to geriatric populations, and in all genders. In addition, students will expand didactic psychiatric medicine principles to clinical situations. Prerequisites: PAS 512, 514, 523, 524, 526, 532, 533, and 534. (5 units; Clinical Year)
