Description
This course is the first of a two-semester study introducing students to the history of Western philosophy. This first part begins with the origins of philosophy in ancient Greece and ends with the Late Middle Ages. Particular attention is given to Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, St Augustine, and St. Thomas. Prerequisite: PHI 213. (3 unints; Interdisciplinary; Fall)
