Description
This course is a study of the perennial questions in the philosophical discipline of Epistemology, or Theory of Knowledge. It provides an introduction to the major parts of an account of knowledge including the nature of belief, justification, and truth. In addition, this course surveys various problems including skepticism, relativism, and the objectivity of knowledge. Prerequisite: HON 101, PHI 213, or WLD 181. (3 units; Spring, odd years)
