Students will explore through the photographic medium - art, culture and sites of historical and contemporary significance. Emphasis is placed on independent project advancement, individualized instruction, and group critique on each student�s project progress. Photography Intensive students will create a series of photographs working within the confines of shooting in a foreign location during the condensed semester. The course culminates in a group exhibition and photographic book. Students registered in this section will participate in a global practicum experience during which the skills learned throughout the semester will be applied in an international setting. Additional fees will apply. Prerequisite: Permission of the Dean. (3 units; Spring/Summer)
