A study of mechanics, heat and thermodynamics, waves, sound, and the mathematical methods of physics. Lecture (3 units) and required laboratory (1 unit). Additional lab fee. Prerequisite: MAT 145 or 245, and a passing score on a mathematics assessment exam. (4 units; Fall)
