Description
This practicum is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills necessary to becoming effective problem solvers in relation to academic issues. Students will learn to design and administer academic intervention, monitor progress, make accommodation based upon on going progress monitoring and report intervention outcomes. Interventions will be research/evidence- based in nature. Global Fieldwork Experience: This course allows students to observe and experience diverse cultures, including educational systems, religious traditions, food, and people. Activities, discussions, and assignments have been designed from a Biblical worldview. Reflective practices will allow students to assess discipline-specific areas and increase cultural competency to inform their future careers in education.
