Description
This course provides an introduction into the structure and functions of the mind from the viewpoint of computation, neuroscience, and philosophy. Students will examine the historical significance of this subject, how the field has changed over time, and the current important issues of thought and memory. Topics include attention processing, memory, mental imagery, decision making process, consciousness, creativity, and methods for measuring informational processing. Prerequisite: PSY 213. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
