Description

This course explores the use of myths, folk tales, and fairy tales present in twentieth and twenty-first century Spanish literature, while focusing on critical reading and ways of writing about literature. Throughout this course, students will gain a basic understanding of current literary theory and literary strategies, while examining modern Spanish literary works within their socio-historical context. Prerequisite: SPA 213, 223, 233, or 305. (3 units; Multicultural; Fall/Spring)
