Description

This course focuses on the identification, assessment, intervention, and prevention of intimate partner violence (IPV). Theories of IPV, prevalence, risk factors and the physical, psychological, social, economic, and spiritual consequences on children and families are examined. Laws, intervention strategies and evaluation of preventions on state, national and global levels are addressed. (3 units; Spring)
