Description
This course provides supervised clinical practicum hours in a community-based health care setting. The student will work with their patients and clients in their chosen field of study under the supervision of health care professional, and will periodically report their clinical experience to the instructor to reflect their field experience. The course entails two major components: (1) Clinical experience, (2) Review and assessment of the student's attainment of professional experience in the College of Allied Health. A total of 126 hours for 14 weeks of on-site work, observation, or participation are required. Prerequisite: Senior status (3 units; Fall/Spring/Summer))
