Description
This practicum incorporates instruction to prepare students for their summer global engagement through class lectures and a research paper. Cultural awareness and sensitivity as well as an understanding of a biblical worldview of global social problems are key components of instruction. Additionally, the practicum provides an opportunity to travel abroad, working with social service providers in a non-profit organization within the host country. Students registered in this section will participate in a global practicum experience during which the skills learned throughout the semester will be applied in a global setting.
