Description

An examination of philosophical assumptions and scientific methodology for both quantitative and qualitative approaches including experimental designs, correlation studies, survey research, interview techniques, naturalistic observation and participant observation. Research issues include design and data analysis with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) computer program, systematic evaluation of practices, and ethical issues related to research. Prerequisite: BEH 383. (4 units; Fall/Spring)
