Description
Emphasizes the design of information systems with the intent to complement and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization in regards to organizational strategy, control, and on-going activities. Topics covered include systems architecture and components, web-enabled commerce, decision support systems, business intelligence, planning, and acquisition. Course highlights the need to link technology policy with corporate strategy with the overall goal to support and enhance competitive advantage. (3 units).
