Description

This course is designed to provide undergraduate students an introduction to language disorders in young and school-age children. Students learn the basic principles of language assessment and intervention, and then survey the unique presentations and treatments for various sub-groups of children with language impairment. Among the sub-groups covered are children with SLI, ID, ASD, and reading and writing disabilities. Prerequisite: CDS 250. (3 units; Fall/Spring)
