Description
Essential computer networking concepts and two of the dominant client operating system interfaces will be studied. The student will investigate networking terminology, media, protocols, transmission standards, connectivity devices, planning and implementation, troubleshooting, and security. The learning process will be enhanced by hands-on experience. (3 units; Spring-odd years)
