Description
The study of index, mechanical and hydraulic properties of soils. Soil identification, compaction, shear strength, consolidation, vertical stress distribution, and flow through porous media. Principles of laboratory identification and testing of soils. Site investigation and in situ testing. Prerequisites: EGR 242 and 254. (3 units; Fall)
