Description

A continuation and extension of Fluid Mechanics with civil engineering applications of hydraulic and hydrologic engineering. Applications of the concepts from Fluid Mechanics (hydrostatics, conservations laws), analyses of pipe flows, pipe networks, hydraulic machinery, hydroelectric power, pressure conduits, reservoirs and dams, and open channel flow are covered. Prerequisites: EGR 342 and EGR 356. (3 units; Spring)
