Description

This course will help students listen to and take notes on topics like schools, traveling, credit cards, public transportation, etc. They are required not only to get the global meaning of what they are listening to, but also to remember and recall the details. Meanwhile, the students will be exposed to idioms, set phrases, and colloquialism in context. Furthermore, they will earn to understand implied meanings in daily conversations. The class activities can be organized in a student-student, students-students, teacher-students or teacher-students settings. Pass/Fail. Prerequisite: ESL028 or Placement Test. (1 unit; As offered)
